The Program

A Better Weigh MD is a four-month program designed by me, a physician over 40, for women over 40 who are ready to lose weight in a radically different way  that works.  The proof is in the more than 4000 pounds that my clients have already lost.  

The peri-menopause period can wreak havoc on our hormones.  From hot flashes to insomnia to mood swings, peri-menopause is not for the faint of heart.  Add exhaustion, joint pain and the ever expanding waist line and the package is complete.  It's enough to make you feel like you are losing your mind.  

That's where my expertise in Ob/Gyn and bariatric medicine comes into play.  I will help you design an eating plan that will help balance out your hormones and stabilize your metabolism.  Together we create an eating plan that will allow you to lose weight without feeling hungry or deprived while keeping your lifestyle and tastes in the forefront.  

 Most of us overeat to soothe our busy and stressful lives.  We don't even realize we are using food and alcohol to make our days easier.  Doing this behavior over and over creates an ingrained neural pathway that can't be overcome with calorie restriction, exercise or willpower.  Eating to feel better becomes our primary defense mechanism.  Stress eating becomes automatic.   That's where I come in.    Through intensive one-on-one coaching,  I will help you discover why you overeat even when you want to lose weight.  You will no longer feel driven by food, and you will feel in control and be in control.   You will gain peace, energy and a sense of purpose as you transition into and through menopause.  

 

 

This program is for women who are serious about making this the last time to lose weight.  I'm here to help you balance your hormones so that you can lose weight without feeling hungry, obtain a sense of peace around food, and learn to give up habits that no longer serve you.  As your coach, I will  offer support and accountability.  We will create A Better Weigh to lose weight the final time.
